The Name al (in it latinizirovannoj to the form of Alhorezmi) is immortalised by Horezmi in the known mathematical term - algorithm which is slightly changed form of a name of Alhorezmi. Originally a word ' algorithm ' named rules of four arithmetic actions.

In the mathematical works al Horezmi has given rise to new section - algebra. Its scientific heritage has rendered a great influence on development of mathematics and other sciences and has strongly entered into a treasury of human culture.

The Beginning of development of medicine and biology originates in the remote past. The medicine and biology history is a history of mankind. Throughout the antique period of researchers of the nature the reasons operating all phenomena in the world interested basically. The biology was not an independent science, but the arch of practical knowledge of plants and animals from the point of view of their utility or harm for the person. The botany and zoology - the first biological sciences - long time contacted medicine. From the occurrence of the person on the Earth life preservation became its essential problem. Always and everywhere the person was waited by illnesses, sometimes awful and mysterious behind which the relentless enemy - death was concealed. Therefore people long since were engaged in treatment of illnesses though in most cases could not establish their reason and often laid blame on supernatural forces, demons, evil ghosts.

But only in rare instances these representations could be correct: the superstition and imagination, fear of demons and very much early the established interdiction to dismember a body of the dead person got in way to knowledge. However the first step has been made, and slow, very slow accumulation of supervision has begun. It was origin of a science and the researches which light eventually has got and into those corners of a life where only the foggiest and confused representations before reigned.
