Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1513) has created universe system where in the centre there was a Sun round which the Earth and other planets moved: Merkury and Venus is closer to the Sun, than the Earth, and Mars, Jupiter and Saturn - further. System Ptolemeja, with the Earth in the world centre, dominating in a science of one and a half thousand years, has been subverted.

System Ptolemeja seemed to Kopernik too difficult and not worthy divine harmony.
