Trudy Galena throughout fourteen centuries served for doctors some kind of the Gospel, and within 1400 they got the knowledge from books of the great Greek-Roman doctor. As soon as doubts started to overwhelm them, doctors searched at Galena of council what to do in this case, how to arrive at the given illness, how to treat the given patient. Certainly, its recipes differed extreme complexity, but it corresponded to a spirit of the age. It is impossible to forget that Galen lived during an epoch which did not know a medical science in original sense of this word.
